When you shop with CCTVSystems.com you can also take advantage of our 30-day hassle free return policy. Our policy is designed to allow us to continue to offer a high-level of customer service and support well beyond the ordering process.


Items Eligible for Return

Restocking fees will not be charged for the following items with a valid RMA number:


  • DOA (Dead on Arrival) and/or damaged items
  • Unopened items
  • Opened items that have not be used and are in new condition (see Return Guidelines below)

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Special order items
  • Items returned without a valid RMA number
  • Items that were received more than 30 days ago
  • Items that have been opened and used

How to request an RMA number

Before returning your item we will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchant Authorization) number. You will need this item before shipping your product. Depending on manufacturer guidelines, you will either be asked to return the product to us or send it directly to the manufacturer.


Send an email request for an RMA number to returns@cctvsystems.com. Once you send your request, we will give you an RMA number. You will need this number before shipping your product.


Before requesting an RMA number, please have the following information ready to speed up the processing time: customer name, invoice number, serial number, and a description of the problem.


Once issued, an RMA number will only be valid for 30 days.


Return Guidelines

  • All returns must be accompanied by a valid RMA number. If you return an item without an RMA, it will be returned unopened.
  • There must not be writing on any packaging.
  • The item you are returning must be returned in the original packaging.
  • All returned products must be clean and free of any usage marks.
  • All components that came with your item must be returned as you received them including manuals, warranty cards, static bags, cables, etc.

Return credit will be issued by CCTVSystems.com only after inspection of the returned products. Items that have been opened or used are not returnable under any circumstances. CCTVSystems.com will refund shipping costs when the return is the result of our error.


For your own protection we recommend that you use UPS or insured parcel post when shipping your return. You may also want to consider fully insuring the return shipment and choosing a delivery service that will provide you with proof of delivery.
